Lensabl Preflight Checklist: Before You Mail Your Eyeglass Frames
Before you send your glasses to Lensabl, use this quick preflight to check your frames, order details, packing, labels, and RMA number. It is built to be printed or saved so you can run through the final steps while you pack.

Use this final check before you seal the box and send your frames to Lensabl for lens replacement. Keep your order or shipping label nearby while you work through the list.
1. Confirm Your Frames Are Ready
- ☐ Your frames are in good condition — not cracked or severely bent.
- ☐ If old lenses are still in the frame, you understand they may be damaged during removal and may not be returned.

2. Confirm Your Order Information Is Already Submitted
- ☐ Your prescription and required measurements are already submitted through your Lensabl order or account.
- ☐ If Lensabl requested an additional measurement, you've submitted it - you haven't guessed a missing value.
- ☐ You are not putting a paper copy of your prescription in the box.
3. Leave These Items Out of the Box
Exception: If your frame requires demo/original lenses, include those lenses as described in the special-frame check above.
4. Pad and Box Your Frames Securely
- ☐ Wrap the frames in padding such as bubble wrap or foam.
- ☐ Place the padded frames in a shipping box.
- ☐ Add enough cushioning so the frames do not move or rattle inside the box.
5. Print and Check Both Labels
- ☐ Print two copies of the Lensabl shipping label.
- ☐ Put one copy on the outside of the box and one copy inside the box.
- ☐ Check that the RMA number at the bottom of the label is fully visible and has not been cut off.
RMA = return merchandise authorization. It is the return reference printed on your Lensabl label, so keep the full number visible.
6. Final Shipping Check
- ☐ The carrier on your issued label matches the current Lensabl shipping instructions.
- ☐ You are within Lensabl’s current 90-day send-in window from the date you placed the order.
- ☐ If the frame is valuable or sentimental, you reviewed the current shipping-insurance option available with your order, if offered.
Before drop-off, check Lensabl’s current packing and shipping instructions and current shipping policy.
7. Before You Seal the Box
- ☐ Frames checked; any special-frame rule handled.
- ☐ Prescription and required order details already submitted.
- ☐ No case, accessories, paper prescription, or paper notes in the box.
- ☐ Frames padded so they do not move or rattle.
- ☐ Two labels ready; inside copy packed; outside label attached; full RMA visible; carrier checked.
