Production Timing

Assuming we have all of the required prescription information needed to start making your lenses (RX and PD, OCH/SH if applicable), lens production is 4-7 business days on average once your frames arrive at our lab*

All lenses go through a meticulous quality inspection before being shipped to you. If there are any imperfections whatsoever, we may re-make your lenses until they are perfect, which can delay final shipment. We do not guarantee a date of completion until the lenses have passed final quality check and a shipping label has been printed.

*Please note:

  • Anti-fog treatment AR takes an additional 1 week to be applied.

  • All sun-tinted Match Solid or Gradient may take an additional 1-2 weeks.

  • All Sun Polarized Mirrored Lenses and Transitions XrtrActive Mirrored Lenses can take up to an additional 3 weeks beyond our standard production time.

  • Strong prescriptions and sports/wrap frames may require slightly longer processing times.

Shipping

United States: Standard shipping (2-4 business days) is free in the US and done by USPS First Class for the initial box to you and shipping label from you back to Lensabl. For the return shipment with your finished lenses back to you, we use USPS Priority. Expedited shipping is $20 and is done by UPS overnight (1 business day).

Canada and International Shipping: For Canada, we ship orders via USPS Priority International at a standard rate of $35. For detailed information on shipping to Canada and other international locations, please visit our FAQ.

Protection Plan

All lenses are covered for scratches made during normal use and any coating defects for the first 3 months from the date you receive your lenses. The lens protection plan extends this coverage from 3 months to 12 months.

  • This protection plan does NOT cover scratches stemming from dropped frames, improper lens care, or lens cleaning with any substance and accessory other than Lensabl provided cleaning kit.

  • The lenses will be remade per the original order. That means that you cannot request to change the frame used, lens type/material/AR or the prescription. If you would like to make changes to the frame used or lenses, that would be treated as a new order and there will be a cost to do so. There are no exceptions to this.

Please Note: You may only do 1 lens protection plan fulfillment per year (or per item in the order).

If your order qualifies to be covered under our lens protection plan, we will replace your lenses for free, and cover the cost of return shipping back to you. You will need to pay for the shipping to us. If you need to send in your past order for lens protection fulfillment, please email support@lensabl.com with a photo of your scratched lenses and our Customer Support team will advise on the next steps.

At Lensabl, we prioritize efficient order processing to minimize your waiting time. However, this expedited process may limit our ability to guarantee order modifications. Nevertheless, we are committed to accommodating your requests to the best of our abilities. Canceling an Order

We understand that circumstances may change, leading you to consider canceling an order. To clarify our cancellation policy, please review the details below:

  • If you chose the "print own label" option and have not yet shipped your frames to our lab, there is no cancellation fee.

  • If you opted for a box provided by Lensabl and the box has been shipped, but you still wish to cancel before sending in your frames, a cancellation fee of $10 applies for standard shipping (USPS) and $20 for expedited shipping (UPS).

  • Should you decide to cancel your order after your frames have reached our lab, but before they enter lens production or if the frame you sent is deemed "non-rxable / not eligible for lens replacement," a $25 cancellation fee will be charged.

  • Once the lenses have been placed into production, canceling the order for a refund is no longer possible since the lenses are custom-made to your prescription and frame, rendering them non-reusable.

Return/Exchange Policy

Given that your lenses are uniquely crafted to fit both your frame and prescription specifications, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or provide refunds. However, we are committed to your satisfaction and provide a guarantee that all lenses will be made to the exact specifics you selected when submitting your order. If you suspect that your lenses have been made incorrectly, kindly refer to our Remake Policy outlined below.

Remakes

In the event that your lenses were inaccurately produced according to the prescription and order details you supplied to us when submitting your order, we will gladly remake your lenses free of charge. It's important to note that you have a 30-day period from the date of receipt of your new lenses to alert us to any issues.

  • This protection plan does NOT cover scratches stemming from dropped frames, improper lens care, or lens cleaning with any substance and accessory other than Lensabl provided cleaning kit.

  • The lenses will be remade per the original order. That means that you cannot request to change the frame used, lens type/material/AR or the prescription. If you would like to make changes to the frame used or lenses, that would be treated as a new order and there will be a cost to do so. There are no exceptions to this.

Return/Exchange Policy

We're committed to your satisfaction with your frame selection. If they don't meet your expectations, you can return them within 14 days of receipt, provided they’re in brand new and unused condition To start the return process, please contact us to obtain an RMA # and our return address. Please note that you will be responsible for the return shipping costs to Lensabl.

Refund & Restocking Fees:

  • Full refund: Non-prescription and single-vision polycarbonate clear lenses.

  • 25% restocking fee: Single-vision 1.67 clear, poly/1.67 night, sun, transitions, blue light blocking, and progressive lenses.

Exchanges:

  • Same style, different color: Return the original frame (you cover the shipping), and we'll send the new color.

  • Different style: Apart from the return shipping, a 25% exchange fee applies. Contact us to initiate an exchange and receive the RMA # and return address.

Production Timing

Lensabl typically processes orders within a single business day. However, if we need to confirm your prescription with your doctor, it might take up to two more business days. After verification, your order will be shipped the following business day.

United States: Standard shipping (2-4 business days) is free in the US and done by USPS First Class. Expedited shipping is $20 and is done by UPS overnight (1 business day).

Canada: For Canada, we offer Standard shipping (6-7 business days) and Express shipping (1-2 business days). Pricing is calculated at checkout.

Currently, we can only process and ship contact lens orders within the US and Canada. International shipping beyond these regions is not available at this time.

Return/Exchange Policy

You can return contact lens orders within 14 days of receipt for a full refund. Ensure all contact lens boxes are unopened and in brand-new condition to qualify for the refund. Should you encounter any issues with faulty, torn, or incorrect contacts, please reach out to our customer service at support@lensabl.com. We'll either replace the defective contacts or provide a refund.

Terms and Conditions

  • Lensabl+ vision plans provide members with an annual supply of essential products and services. By joining Lensabl+, you commit to the yearly membership fee and gain immediate access to all benefits from the first day.

  • For eye exam rewards, the receipt from your provider must be dated after your Lensabl+ membership start date to qualify for the reward.

Cancellation Policy

  • After purchasing a Lensabl+ subscription, cancellations are allowed only if you have not used any of your subscription benefits.

Changes To Your Plan

  • To change your selected contacts or glasses lens type after ordering a Lensabl+ subscription, contact support@lensabl.com. However, changes are permissible only if you haven't redeemed any membership benefits

  • Lensabl+ plans auto-renew yearly. To cancel the subsequent year's subscription, reach out to support@lensabl.com.

  • If you choose our quarterly payment method (available only via credit/debit card) and face a declined payment, your membership will be paused. You won't access further benefits until the payment issue is resolved.
